• WHO WE ARE?

    Different Paths. A Shared Practice.

We did not arrive here through one path. Among us are yoga teachers, therapists, meditation guides, bodyworkers, sound practitioners, healers, artists, chefs, community organizers, caregivers, and people who have spent years questioning the lives we were told we were supposed to want. Our experiences are different. Our disciplines are different. Even our understandings of healing are different.

What connects us is the belief that wellness should help you become more present in your life—not better at performing one. We are not interested in perfection, spiritual performance, or asking people to become someone new. We create spaces where people can slow down enough to hear themselves again, reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies, and examine the beliefs, expectations, and patterns shaping their choices. At Tired Lotus, rest is not something you earn after exhaustion.

Our work brings ancient practices into conversation with modern understandings of the nervous system, emotional well-being, relationships, identity, and the realities of everyday life. Yoga may be the doorway, but the practice extends far beyond the mat—into how we breathe, eat, communicate, make decisions, care for one another, and choose what deserves our energy.

We believe meaningful change can happen through movement and stillness, solitude and community, serious reflection and deep laughter. Tired Lotus is for those who are weary of performing wellness and ready to practice something more honest: presence, discernment, connection, and a life that feels increasingly like their own.

    Over 20K Hours

Of combined teaching, training, leadership, facilitation, and care across yoga, therapy, executive leadership, organizing, bodywork, Reiki, meditation, sound healing, culinary arts, and community care.

    10+ Modalities

Combining yoga, meditation, therapy, bodywork (Thai/Sweedish massage), Reiki, fire, sound healing, breathwork, food, somatics, and more.

    One Shared Commitment

Presence over performance. We believe transformation begins with the willingness to face ourselves honestly—to notice the identities we perform, the stories we protect, the patterns we repeat. We help people quiet the noise long enough to hear what is true.

  • WHY THIS? WHY NOW?

Tired Lotus creates spaces for rest, wellness, and radical awakening.

Most people today are living a life that is not fully of their own choosing.

We inherit a script long before we are old enough to question it: work harder, achieve more, accumulate, perform, endure, and keep moving. We are taught which milestones should matter, what success should look like, how productive we should be, what kind of relationships are acceptable, and how much of ourselves we must silence in order to belong.

For many people, that script works—at least from the outside. The career is built. The responsibilities are handled. The image is maintained. The boxes are checked. And yet, beneath the accomplishment, something feels absent. The life we were told to seek increasingly rings hollow.

We have been trained to mistake busyness for purpose, recognition for worth, consumption for fulfillment, and exhaustion for evidence that our lives matter. Health becomes something we attend to after the work is done. Rest becomes a reward. Joy is postponed. The body is ignored until it begins to protest. Our deepest desires are negotiated away in exchange for safety, approval, predictability, or success.

Over time, it becomes difficult to tell the difference between what we truly want and what we have simply learned to pursue.

Radical awakening begins with the courage to question that inherited life. We do not offer wellness as an escape from your life. We create the conditions for you to encounter yourself—and choose how you want to live.

    Aisha

I believe yoga isn’t something we perform, it’s something we practice, both on and off the mat. My classes invite students to slow down, breathe deeply, and explore movement with curiosity rather than perfection.

Blending Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga, Intro to Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and Yoga Sutra philosophy, I create experiences that support strength, rest, reflection, and meaningful connection.

I look forward to sharing the practice with you.
